Having the right kitchen tools can make your food routine a whole lot more pleasant, helping you stay the course. These tools help make eating healthy at home almost as easy as eating out, saving your money and keeping you more in control of your health.

Here's three dynamic must-haves for your kitchen:

1) Top notch blender

I had a Vitamix for about a decade, and more recently a Blendtec the last 7 years. While both are high performance blenders that get the job done, I prefer the Blendtec for my own needs (mostly smoothies, pureeing soups, and miscellaneous tasks).

Find the Blendtec here.

2) Compact espresso machine

Want a simple, counter-space friendly way to make your morning espresso at home? You'll love having the Bambino Plus as a part of your morning routine.

It's perfect if you're the only coffee drinker in your house and don't need a larger machine.

If you want something more suitable for a household with multiple coffee drinkers, I also love the Barista Express. It's a larger machine and has a built-in grinder for your more complex coffee needs.

3) Easy clean juicer

I've been large batch juicing about 2-3x per week for the last 8 years or so and the biggest pain is cleaning up. Having to scrub the fine strainer in your standard juicer is the biggest chore. I was thrilled to learn about Hurom's H400 'easy clean' juicer that does not contain a traditional strainer basket that needs to be thoroughly scrubbed. Most of the time I just need to do a thorough rinse of the juicer components right after juicing and it's good to go for next time.

The Hurom H400 is well-oiled machine that helps take the mess out of juicing. It has an easy release button so you can choose when you want to empty your juice, a build-in reservoir for pulp, and a super quiet motor. The only caveat is a juicer without a strainer does tend to produce juice with a bit more pulp, but doing a pass-through through a simple mess strainer at home outweighs a juicer that requires cumbersome cleaning. You can also embrace the pulp in your efforts to eat a higher fiber diet.

Find the Hurom H400 there.

I hope this helps you shop for small kitchen appliances that can make your healthy eating habits a little easier.
