Free Report: How To Reverse A Slow Metabolism

When your body decides to slow your metabolism it’s all about one thing: survival! It’s not about your body trying to conspire against you and ruin your life. It’s your body making a wise decision to sacrifice long-term health for short-term survival because it’s being told to do so (usually through food/nutrient scarcity). The slowing of the metabolism allows your body to go longer on less food. The body also tends to hold on to fat as a protective mechanism, which isn't exactly what most people are going for! Ready to learn what is slowing your metabolism and what you can do about it? Subscribe below to get access to my FREE Metabolism Report: Why Your Metabolism Was Fast, But Now It's Slow:

I exercise daily, no caffeine, alcohol, no smoking. But my waist has increased by 3 inches, my weight has actually decreased.

Thanks for that Catherine! Although I am a former nurse and medical student, I've always tended to 'do my own thing' - much to the despair of the medical profession! I love to research whatever comes to my attention, especially in the areas of health, fitness and diet, and long ago came to the conclusion that our current eating habits are generally very poor. I live in Australia, but am sure this is just as true in America and Europe. Over the past ten years I've recovered successfully, and naturally, from an autoimmune condition, digestive dysfunction and a number of other issues which were caused mainly by the ten years I worked as a nurse on night shift.

I thoroughly agree with all your advice in this interview. I believe we need to get back to a whole food, balanced diet free from additives, minimally processed and using a wide range of natural foods, as you have outlined in your interview. After five years of following these guidelines, my body is healthier than it has been for many years. I've also found that I now find highly processed and junk food completely unpalatable, so I'm never even tempted to include them in my diet. Thanks again for your wise advice!

What if despite eating all those foods..minus liver and organ foods....I'm still gaining weight? I have gastroparesis and reflux all fatty foods...boo...despite digestive enzymes, deep breathing etc. I'm pretty much at a loss....I would love some guidance please.
