Superwoman Stress Pills for Stress Relief: All-natural nutrition help when you need it most!

Superwoman Stress Pills for Stress Relief | Butter NutritionDue to a family emergency this past week, my stress level increased and my appetite dwindled. During times like this, I like to whip up a batch of my superwoman stress pills to help keep me going (and nourished)! As you may already know, I'm not really a fan of supplements due to fillers, additives, synthetic nutrients, and nutrient isolation. These on the other hand are 88% real food (besides the magnesium) and are quick and easy if you have the ingredients! If not, there is a little bit of leg-work involved, but once you make a batch of eggshell calcium, you are pretty much golden for months!

What goes into Superwoman Stress Pills and why they are good for stress relief:

Beet root powder is particularly high in betaine, a nutrient that is particularly useful to the liver. Beets are also a great source of the folate, manganese, potassium and vitamin C.

Nutritional yeast is an excellent source of B-vitamins, particularly thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), vitamin B6, folate (B9), vitamin B12, & pantothenic acid (B5). It also contains protein, zinc, copper and manganese. B vitamins are helpful for stress relief because they help with your cell's ability to produce energy.

Magnesium  is needed for over 300 reactions in the body, not sufficient in our food supply, and wasted by the body during times of stress.

Eggshell calcium opposes the stress response by providing calcium to quite the parathyroid and fight the stress response.

Sea salt is an amazing source of trace minerals (over 82 recorded in some salt varieties!) Minerals are often called the "spark plugs to life," due to their role as required co-factors for thousands of enzyme reactions throughout the body. The mineral sodium is very crucial to fluid balance in the body. If you have adrenal fatigue or are under high stress, you often lose an increased amount of sodium through your urine.

Tools:

-Double "00" gelatin capsules (like this)
-Capsule filler (optional)

Recipe (double or triple batch as needed):

1 tb nutritional yeast (like this)
1 tb beet powder (like this)
1 ½ teaspoon magnesium powder
¾ teaspoon DIY eggshell calcium
¾ teaspoon sea salt

Process:

1) Combine ingredients and stir until combined.
2) Fill double "00" sized capsules by hand or using a capsule filling tool.
Notes: 1 batch of this fills approximately 60 double "00" gelatin capsules sized. Serving size during times when stress relief is needed are about 8-10 capsules per day, spread out at mealtime if possible. This will help provide your body with the nutrients needed to fight the stress response with real food nutrients when you don't have the time or energy for a nutritious home-cooked meal! These are also great for everyday as well 🙂

I love the idea, love to make those myself. Can you tell from where I get the ingredients? That is the first time I heard about, very excited to try. Please let me know and thank you so much for sharing this. : )
